Abstract Paintings
Every time I pick up a brush I am excited.  I paint from my heart and from my heart the feelings and emotions flow onto the paper.  Sometimes I have a plan and sometimes I do not, sometimes I dream a painting and other times I am inspired by nature, architecture, or simply the beauty of my surroundings.  Whether the ocean, the mountains or the rugged beauty of an old fishing vessel, all is fodder for a new work.

Collage, watercolor and acrylics are my media.  When I am painting on location I love the feeling of transparent  watercolor flowing and mingling on the paper to create an
expression, a
feeling of the subject which can only be captured in the moment.  Painting on location is a spiritual feeling of oneness with my environment.  When in my studio I let my inner creative soul be the artistic driver resulting in a cacophony of feelings, images and inspirations.

Expressing my love of life through abstract art, or whimsical reality is truly a joy.  I feel grateful to have found this medium as the voice of my heart.
